I’m often asked how to deal with rotten people online and in real life, and in all honesty, the rule is very simply:

Don’t take shit from anyone whose jeans are 95% spandex

I learned a name
that was derived from that of the Greek god of
war
(or was it the Roman?)
and though to me it merely told a mythical tale
it struck down whoever else learned it
like a gunshot
to the head
(it was the name of the god of
war
after all)
but it didn’t scare me

And the god of such a name had eyes
that were deep and fluid
dark but with a warmth
that comforted whoever
looked into them
they were soft
like water
but I was afraid
for even water could kill
one who doesn’t know how to swim in it

Hoodie Allen - No Faith In Brooklyn (ft. Jhameel)

"Courage, I seemed to think, comes to us in finite quantities, like an inheritance, and by being frugal and stashing it away and letting it earn interest, we steadily increase our moral capital in preparation for that day when the account must be drawn down. It was a comforting theory. It dispensed with all those bothersome little acts of daily courage; it offered hope and grace to the repetitive coward; it justified the past while amortizing the future."

Regents Physics Students:

If any of you are Regents physics students and are struggling with/would like to brush up on some topics before the Regents exam, and would like an online tutor, feel free to message me your email or Facebook name.
I did this last year for chemistry and I was told by a few students that the extra help paid off—and I had a great freshman physics teacher who taught me easy approaches to some otherwise-difficult concepts—so I’d be happy to tutor Regents science students for a second year.

Anonymous asked: Do you speak Pangasinan?

English is my first language; I usually only use Pangasinan slang with my family. Otherwise, I speak English.
